Las Vegas is full of fantasy with hope and desire. Shopping centers and big advertisements everywhere made me feel dizzy. The sound, light and moving images of Casino tempted me by giving ‘hope’ such as the lottery.
There are 7 jackpots’ stories in the video. They are all related to our manipulated desire of images under media control. and this slot machine has a lever to pull down like a real slot machine. So if people pull down the lever, one receipt paper comes out from the box next to the lever. In the receipt, you can have your desire, lucky number and some saying about desire from authors or philosophers. They are randomly changed each time. The reason why I do this is that I am always interested in what makes our own ego what is the difference between an individual person and the group we are in.
